Appointments

Urgent Appointments

All appointments are released on the 9.00am on the day, you can call for an on the day appointment or book via online through the Accurx service.

The link is available between 8.30am to 10.00am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

On Thursday, the link is available between 9.00am and 10.00am.

Use the link stated above, fill out your details, symptoms, you can also state what time would be preferable for you or which Doctor you would prefer to see and we will accommodate accordingly and send an appointment time and date. Once you receive a confirmation, you respond to let us know if it is suitable for you.

Extended access is on alternative Monday and Wednesdays; extended access times needs to change to 7.45pm. Thursday opening times is from 8.00am to 1.00pm.

Routine Appointments

Arrange an appointment and complete the online questionnaire. The reception staff will respond to you via text message within 2 working days (not including bank holidays).

Cancelling or changing an appointment

If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that someone else can use the appointment. You can cancel or change your appointment:

  • Phone us
  • To cancel the appointment, use the link in the text message reminder for the appointment

Out of Hours

Contact the surgery on 0121 526 7151 and a recorded message will advise you on how to contact a doctor. Please have a pen and paper ready.

If you require non-urgent medical advice please call 111.

When can I get an out-of-hours appointment?

Extra GP appointments are available on weekdays between 6.30pm to 9.00pm, weekends 10.00am to 3.00pm and bank holidays 11.00am to 1.30pm. If you need an appointment please ring OurNet on 01922 501 999.People will only be seen if they have booked an appointment.

Try the NHS App

You can now use the NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services and your GP account on your smartphone or tablet.

You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record, access your Covid vaccination status and more.

If you already use online access you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.

Home Visits

If you are too ill to visit the surgery please contact the surgery on 0121 526 7151 between 9.00am to 11.00am if at all possible. You will need to provide details of your symptoms.
